'I’m fully booked for the next 3 weeks': Massage therapist cancels a booking with his fiancée's boss to drive his sick partner to the doctor because the boss's petty doctor's note mandates

Instant karma strikes an arrogant boss after his dumb new work policy goes into effect, proving that employees don't need a micromanager on top of them for the rest of flu season. 

It's that time of year again, and people are getting ill. Whether it's the change in the seasons, that faulty heater duct unit in the office, all of the family gatherings, or your coworker's snot-nosed kid selling Christmas wrap to your workplace again, we're all about to be sick. Inevitably, every year when the temperature dips and festivities get moved around the chimney fire, colds and flus are bound to crop up, but that's what our sick days are for, right? To prevent the whole office from illness, wise workers will do their bidding elsewhere or take the day off completely in the hopes that they can rest up, get better, and do a service to everyone else in the workplace. 

However, this boss made it clear that he wouldn't allow sick days anymore…. Unless workers showed that they had a doctor's note within 24 hours of their day-off request, no sick days would be honored. But the boss didn't realize that this new policy would directly affect him, and his monthly massage, with his employee's fiancé's physical therapy practice. Someone had to drive his fiancée to the doctor to get a doctor's note, and guess when they booked the doctor appointment? Right when the boss was about to come in. 

Sorry, bud, we're all booked up for the next few weeks. See you after Turkey Day.
